Yasmin has been cast to play Alice in Patrick Marber's play "Closer"
which will be directed by Tamryn Speirs in 2020.
In October Yasmin won "Best Actress" at the 1Minute Film Festival, Cape Town.
"A Hero's Counsel" which was a submission at the 2018 "48 Hour Film Project"
is currently in pre-production to be reimagined as a web-series in which Yasmin Hankel
will again embody the PTSD suffering student Jasmine and her superhero alter ego Meteora.
The 2019 "48 Hour Film Project" short "Sparks to the Grindstone" is currently in a bigger
development process to launch as a sitcom in 2020 with Yasmin playing Jess.
Yasmin is cast to play Melissa in Wayne Ronné's new web-series "The Ripple"
which is scheduled to premiere in 2020.

Yasmin Hankel was born in Mexico City and grew up in Boston (USA), Munich (Germany) and Cape Town (South Africa).
She obtained a BA in New Media at the University of Cape Town and received the majority of her acting training at ACT Cape Town.
